Annual Report 2024 published
Five years after it was established, the Swiss Young Academy has published its first public Annual Report.
The report offers interested readers a comprehensive insight into key aspects and objectives of the Young Academy in 2024 and the composition of its interdisciplinary membership.
Nine current joint projects are of particular interest, as these address core issues associated with the interface between science, society and politics. The report outlines their activities, results and financial outlays, illustrating how the members of the Academy endeavour to promote a constructive dialogue between the scientific community and society.
A look back at 2024 also indicates how the Young Academy cooperated with the senior Academy - the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences - and how, in addition to this, the Swiss Young Academy introduced further independent stimuli to the scientific system.
