Annual Report 2025

In 2025, the Swiss Young Academy strengthened its international engagement by hosting the European National Young Academies Meeting (ENYA) in Bern, while advancing key initiatives at the interface of science, policy and society. Through diverse projects, publications and activities, early-career researchers contributed to shaping future-oriented topics—from science diplomacy and AI to academic careers and public engagement.

Annual Report 2024

In 2024, the Swiss Young Academy focused on advancing its organisational development following a comprehensive evaluation, while actively shaping key discussions relevant to early career researchers. Alongside preparing to host the European National Young Academies Meeting (ENYA) 2025 in Bern, members engaged in a wide range of interdisciplinary projects—from science communication and policy to AI, academic careers and the role of science in society—strengthening dialogue, collaboration and the visibility of emerging voices in Swiss science.
